Rachel Baudler Blaseg

Senior Associate

Rachel Baudler Blaseg is a Senior Associate and Project Manager at Damon Farber, bringing over 15 years of experience in landscape architecture and urban design. Throughout her career, she has led numerous high-profile projects, including the Memorial to Survivors of Sexual Violence, the University of Minnesota Chemistry Undergraduate Teaching, and the Minnetonka Parks, Open Spaces, and Trails System Plan. Rachel specializes in community engagement, resilient landscape design, and creating spaces that foster connection and well-being. Her expertise also extends to park planning, public space improvements, and transit-oriented development, with a focus on equitable and inclusive outcomes.

Rachel holds a Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) from the University of Minnesota and bachelor's degrees in Environmental Studies and Sociology from UC Santa Cruz, where she is still in the top ten for all-time points and three-pointers in the history of the Banana Slugs basketball team. She actively contributes to the industry as the President of ASLA-MN, and her involvement in local and regional initiatives has been instrumental in shaping vibrant public spaces throughout Minnesota.

Outside of her professional life, Rachel is passionate about travel, exploring the outdoors, and spending quality time with her family and children, Otto and Hattie.
