Crane Lake Preserve Park Shelter

Minnetonka, MN

Crane Lake Preserve and its natural beauty are enjoyed today from this newly built park shelter. Damon Farber paid careful attention to design details and the shelter is strategically positioned to overlook the serene beauty of Crane Lake Preserve, offering visitors a picturesque view. This small but vibrant community gathering space is nestled along the edge of the preserve and a commuter bike trail, providing a fantastic opportunity for outdoor picnics. Both locals and visitors can revel in the natural beauty of the lake and its surroundings while enjoying the shelter’s amenities. The park shelter, thoughtfully designed by Damon Farber, serves as a hub for relaxation and social interaction.

Concealed lights that gracefully illuminate the structure at night create a unique ambiance, making it an enchanting destination after dusk. Adjacent to the Ridgedale Center regional mall, the park shelter provides a seamless transition between urban conveniences and the tranquility of nature. Overall, the project stands as a testament to the community’s commitment to preserving green spaces and fostering connections among its residents.
