Jordan is an Associate at Damon Farber and an award-winning planner and urban designer with eight years of professional experience. Since joining Damon Farber in 2021, he has helped lead planning, urban design, public realm, trail, and community engagement efforts for communities throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the Upper Midwest.

His work is rooted in helping communities translate broad goals and public aspirations into clear, actionable plans. Jordan brings experience in community and small-area planning, urban design, land use, transportation, public realm strategy, redevelopment, and civic engagement. He is particularly interested in the relationships between these systems and how thoughtful planning and design can create places that are more connected, welcoming, resilient, and reflective of the communities they serve. He brings particular strength in public engagement, using conversations with residents, stakeholders, and decision-makers to identify shared priorities, build compelling long-range visions, and translate those ideas into strategic and implementable steps.

Jordan received his degree in Landscape Architecture from North Dakota State University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. His commitment to community-centered planning and design has also extended beyond his professional work. He has participated in internationally recognized fellowship programs hosted by 8 80 Cities, the Knight Foundation, World Urban Parks, and the Salzburg Global Seminar, and received the ASLA Minnesota H.W.S. Cleveland Award for demonstrated early-career leadership. His work and advocacy have been featured by the Duluth News Tribune, Minnesota Reformer, Star Tribune, MPR News, NBC News, and Landscape Architecture Magazine.

Outside of work, Jordan is an avid photographer with a particular interest in documenting the landscapes, communities, infrastructure, and everyday places of the Upper Midwest.
