With roots in Madison, Minneapolis, and the East Coast, Nicole grew up connecting to water in its many forms leading to a passion for connecting people to the land and water through design. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota’s Master of Landscape Architecture program where she was awarded two ASLA Honor Awards and the Women in Landscape Architecture Graduate Leadership Award. Nicole’s background in design for Theatre grounds her work in storytelling and creativity; together with her experience in landscape systems, her work honors diverse landscapes through attention to people, ecology, and change over time. She connects to the landscape through drawing, biking, and surfing.
