Loring Green

Damon Farber collaborated with First Service Residential and the Loring Green community to transform rooftop and ground-level spaces along the Loring Greenway—one of Minneapolis’ most cherished pedestrian corridors. Working closely with residents, board members, and the project team, we designed vibrant, multi-season amenities including grilling stations, fire pits, a bocce court, tennis court, expansive lawns, and lush native landscaping.
More than an aesthetic upgrade, this project enhances the safety, vitality, and connectivity of the Greenway, strengthening a pedestrian link that ties downtown to the Chain of Lakes. Funded entirely by the homeowner community, these improvements are a testament to resident leadership, pride of place, and a shared commitment to creating lasting value for both the property and the city.
