Northrop Mall Historic District Historic Architectural Survey

Damon Farber Landscape Architects collaborated with a team of historians, architects and archeologists to complete an inventory and assessment of the Northrop Mall Historic District. The survey provides a detailed analysis and inventory of the historic mall designed by Cass Gilbert in the City Beautiful campus planning style. The mall, originally developed in 1910 and fully completed in 1971, has a high degree of historic integrity. The Northrop Mall Historic District was found to be eligible for the National Historic Register in 2006. Damon Farber's cultural resources team provided documentation of existing conditions and analysis of integrity for the cultural landscape.
