Maple Grove Library

The new Maple Grove Library is designed as a pavilion in a park. The design integrates outdoor views and spaces creating a strong inside-outside relationship and extending the experience beyond the walls of the library. A community porch on the backside of the library offers sweeping views of the lake and adjacent Town Green. The front entry offers a contemporary solution with decorative paver bands, linear massings of native and ornamental grasses, seating, bicycle parking and stainless steel bollards. An expansive green roof provides color and minimizes stormwater runoff while reducing the energy consumption of the building
