Originally from Minneapolis, Calvin is entering his fourth year in the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture program at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Growing up in the Twin Cities and spending time throughout its renowned park system sparked his interest in how landscapes influence the way people experience the outdoors. Through backpacking, canoeing, and exploring natural areas across the Upper Midwest, he developed an appreciation for places that bring together recreation, ecology, and community. These experiences continue to shape his approach to landscape architecture and design.

Outside of the studio, you can find Calvin biking, climbing, canoeing, and playing jazz around Madison.
