Blake is a lifelong resident of the Twin Cities. He recently completed his Master of Landscape Architecture and Master of Urban & Regional Planning degrees at the University of Minnesota with a minor in Heritage Studies & Public History and an emphasis on Ecological Restoration. He is driven by a sense of connection to his environment and a desire to help deepen our collective relationships with the places we live. In his design work, he aims to recognize, respect, and reveal diverse connections to place through listening and learning while contributing his own skills and experience. His ability to think at a range of scales along with his passion for communication ground his work in awareness and precision. In his free time, Blake enjoys interacting with the world on foot, bike, and ski. Someday, he hopes to add boats to that list, too.
