Woodland Adventure Playground

Described as being “not just another playground” the new Woodland Adventure is the most recent addition to the Minnesota Zoo. We were challenged with creating a space that would engage the user with nature, encourage exploring, invoke children’s imagination and creativity and feature design elements that make it at home in Minnesota. Some of the unique features include a tree house and rope bridge, split-rock lighthouse replica, a climbable spider web, a bears den, giant turtle shells that kids can climb into, an eagle’s nest with oversized eggs and a larger than life oriole’s nest swing
