Thomas Whitlock, ASLA is President of Damon Farber Associates, a twelve person Landscape Architectural and Site Planning Firm.  Over the past 18 years, his work at DFA has resulted in many award winning projects. He has been recognized by the Army Corps of Engineers for Design Innovation for work on large scale projects like the 2,200 acre Grand Forks Greenway as well as by the American Society of Landscape Architects Minnesota Chapter for urban mixed use projects like Excelsior and Grand, the only LEED Neighborhood certified project in the country.  He has earned over twenty awards during his time at DFA from ASLAMN, Committee on the Urban Environment, National Association of Industrial + Office Properties, Minnesota Shopping Center Association, American Council of Engineering Companies and the Army Corps of Engineers.

Tom is a registered landscape architect in the State of Minnesota and Past President of ASLA Minnesota.  He has spoken at the Society of American Military Engineers, Urban Land Institute Young Leaders Group, AIA Minnesota Convention, Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association and the Minnesota Hospital Facility Managers Association.   His work has been published in Landscape Architecture Magazine, Architecture Minnesota , Architecture Week and Fabric Architecture.
