Damon Farber is the founder of Damon Farber Associates and a registered landscape architect with over 30 years of professional experience, and distinguished as a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects. He is a professional affiliate of the Minnesota Society of the American institute of Architects and is certified nationally through CLARB, the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards.
Damon's commitment to quality, coupled with an emphasis on design integrity, has resulted in more than forty-five professional planning and design awards and honors since he founded the firm in 1981. Mr. Farber has received degrees from the University of Minnesota and has done post graduate studies in Europe through the Carl Duisssberg Gesselschaft Fellowship program. Damon was a member of the Minnesota State Designer Selection Board and for a number of years played an active role on the University of Minnesota College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (CALA) Advisory Board. Damon has spoken extensively on the subject of urban design and landscape architecture and been a periodic critic at the CALA.
