Chuck Evens

Associate Designer
Damon Farber Associates / Landscape Architects

Chuck Evens has been professionally practicing landscape architecture for over 12 years. Chuck worked for a Multi-disciplinary firm in downtown Chicago, IL before joining the team of Landscape Architects at Damon Farber Associates.  Chuck holds multiple design degrees from the College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture at North Dakota State University, and studied architecture and landscape architecture abroad for a summer semester throughout Europe.

Chuck brings an ability to quickly yet thoughtfully develop design concepts that respond to user needs and project programs.  He places a strong emphasis on the graphic presentation of a project so that clients can better understand the challenges and solutions they face together.

His design influence can be seen at many regional projects including The Village at Mendota Heights, Edina City Hall, Uptown Row in Minneapolis, and The Carlyle Condominiums.  Furthermore Chuck's design abilities can be seen throughout the country from his extensive involvement with the Target Corporation.  He worked with Target on their exterior 2004 and 2009 store prototype designs, and more recently managed a project that delivered a 400 plus page Site Design Guidelines document for Target that will improve their sustainability, landscape brand image, and lower future maintenance costs.

Currently Chuck is working on Riverfront Park along the Minnesota River in Mankato, MN.  Soon to be a jewel within Mankato's park system, this park will have an amphitheater designed to accommodate concerts for 10,000 plus people.

Past experience for Chuck includes site analysis, site planning, concept designs, graphic illustrations, residential landscape design, web design, and Power Point marketing presentations.
