worked closely with the Target Corporation and assisted them with
creating prototypical site plans for their various store types.
The process was intended to help their developers create a more
meaningful experience for the guests. Target wanted to "brand"
the site to visually enhance the store while increasing their visibilty.
DFA proposed many different ideas and techniques and went through
a full design process to determine the more practical "branding"
solutions.
An
early idea suggested by DFA was to incorporate large circular red
bollards on site. The idea has since been successfully embraced
by Target and is being implemented at many of their new stores across
the country.
