The
goal for this development is to create a project that is truly “unique”
for the City of Woodbury. Woodbury Lakes features two elaborate
courtyards that host outdoor dining venues and civic gatherings.
Street parking and pedestrian friendly sidewalks invite the public
to stroll through a four block shopping experience. Decorative street
lights, flowering pots, and decorative “Woodbury Lakes”
banners are strategically located throughout the streetscape of
Woodbury Lakes.
The site plan for Woodbury Lakes consists of approximately 400,000
square feet of retail space that includes upwards of 50-60 inline
upscale retailers and restaurant concepts and approximately nine
outlot restaurant or freestanding retail locations. The retail locations
are divided into seven different buildings, each offering a unique
design and façade. The majority of the retailers are tenants
ranging from 1,000 square feet to 10,000 square feet focused around
the "mainstreet" development, with a compliment of mid
sized stores in the 20,000-25,000 square foot range, creating a
dynamic mix of retail and restaurant tenants.
The site plan provides parking on the periphery, with the addition
of interior on street parking for convenience parking and "Pick-Up"
and "Drop-Off" trips. Traffic calming techniques are incorporated
such as roundabouts and narrow-winding streets to slow down vehicular
traffic through the "Main Street". Pedestrian crosswalks
assist in safely moving shoppers throughout the various buildings
of the center.
We believe that “Woodbury Lakes” will introduce a new
concept of retail shopping to the City of Woodbury and surrounding
area and will gain both local and national attention.
Woodbury
Lakes is a joint venture between Opus Northwest, L.L.C. and RED
Development. Woodbury Lakes is located immediately south of Interstate
94 and just east of Radio Drive on Hudson Road South.
