Damon
Farber Associates
has been involved with campus improvements at Cargill Corporation
for over 9 years. The firm’s initial involvement was in the
development of a comprehensive Master Plan in1995.
The Master Plan focuses on the overall site aesthetics through the
introduction of design recommendations that enhance the physical
setting and visual imagery for both visitors and employees. Parallel
to that investigation, the master plan addresses opportunities to
upgrade and invest in site improvements and maintenance practices
that will reduce the operational costs required to maintain the
campus.
The Master Plan provides responsible solutions that will allow for
logical and effective improvements to the Cargill Facilities. These
functional and aesthetic improvements will provide a continuum of
the traditions and values that epitomize Cargill as a corporation
of the very highest caliber.
Following that initial Master Plan for Cargill Damon Farber Associates
has been responsible for design and implementation of over twelve
coporate campus improvement projects over the past decade. The firm
is currently working on a comprehensive trail system and decorative
entry gates.
Improvements
over the years have included; sunken garden, flag pole displays
at Center Campus and Crosstown Campus, monument signs at four office
buildings, limestone walls, Lake Office terrace, motor court area
improvements, and the Cargill pathway system.
